About Ayanthi

With a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Kent and six years of primary teaching experience, I specialise in helping students to thrive and find their confidence to work independently across the Primary curriculum.

I strongly believe education should be relished and I bring this sense of enjoyment into the tailored lessons that I teach. My aim is to create a safe and engaging space through encouragement and targeted support, where children are not afraid to make mistakes and feel motivated to work hard in an environment where they feel respected. My approach is rooted in building confidence and creativity, ensuring every learner feels seen, supported, and inspired. Through this tailored support, many of the children I have taught who had started below their age-related reading band, have been able to reach age related expectations and many children have exceeded age related expectations in Mathematics.

I believe deeply in the value of personalised education and have seen first-hand how imaginative, student-centred teaching can transform a child’s outlook and achievement. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I enjoy baking, staying active with Pilates and playing Padel, travelling and volunteering my time with local charities.
