Specialist Areas – Professional Focus

I specialise in supporting primary and secondary school students, including GCSE-level learners, with a particular focus on Science, Biology and Mathematics. I currently work through 4myschools as a Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor, supporting pupils in UK schools, managing classroom activities and helping students engage confidently with their learning.

I have previous experience as a primary and secondary school teacher, specialising in Science at secondary level, as well as experience providing one-to-one private tuition in Science and Mathematics.

My academic background includes a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), BSc (Hons) Biotechnology and MS Biomedical Sciences, and I am currently completing an MRes in Clinical Science at the University of East Anglia. I use a patient, supportive and adaptable teaching approach, aiming to simplify challenging concepts, build students’ confidence and tailor learning to individual needs.
