Primary English and Maths, Reading, Phonics, Writing and Spelling, Primary Science and general primary curriculum support. I can support children with building confidence, developing key skills, completing homework and preparing for SATs. My focus is on creating engaging, age-appropriate lessons that are adapted to each child’s individual needs, strengths and learning style.
About Hannah
I am a qualified primary school teacher with a PGCE and QTS, with experience teaching children across the primary age range. I have particularly enjoyed creating engaging lessons, adapting activities to suit individual learners and helping children develop confidence in their abilities.
I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported and encouraged. My approach is friendly, patient and positive, while still providing appropriate challenge to help learners make progress. I take time to understand each child’s strengths, areas for development and individual learning style, and I adapt my sessions accordingly.
I can support children with a range of primary subjects, including English, Maths, Reading, Phonics, Writing, Spelling and Science, as well as homework, general curriculum support and SATs preparation.
Having worked in schools, I understand that children can sometimes find particular areas of learning difficult or lose confidence when they feel they are struggling. I aim to make learning enjoyable and break concepts down into manageable steps, celebrating progress along the way.
I am passionate about education and genuinely enjoy helping children understand something they previously found challenging. My goal is for every learner to finish a session feeling more confident, capable and positive about their learning.
